"Gibraltar Dam as Stacked Teacups."This conceptual piece shows the size and era of Gibraltar Dam which is our first (1910) water reservoir in Santa Barbara County. The dam was raised in 1948 due to the rising level of sediment, therefore a stacked teacup was added. It's size and style of teacup is in relation to the Juncal Dam (1911) and Lake Cachuma 1940. (Jadeite Batter Bowl).

On view at the Westmont Ridley Tree Museum of Art. The show will January through June 2019. Please contact Tamara Vaughan for purchase tvaughan@westmont.edu.
